Yogita has more than a decade of experience in business development and consulting across various industries in the UK, USA, Europe, and APAC. She holds a master’s in business administration from ISB, Hyderabad. She has also been instrumental in creating a new line of business. Her repertoire includes clientele in the Financial Services, Telecom, Retail, Information Technology, and Learning industries like Genpact Headstrong and HP.

The versatile leader started her journey in this industry because of the gaps and issues observed by her. Yogita realized that technology is reshaping the economy since major players in every industry bank heavily on technology for not only automation but also to introduce process efficiencies and create innovations. There was a massive gap in the technology skill market. People were not getting the right jobs as per their skill set and ability. Witnessing such a state of affairs, she decided to create valuable relationships for clients and candidates by providing efficient talent solutions.

Over the past years, the HR industry has changed drastically because of the changing needs of the business world and technology disruption. Yogita opines, “With millennials entering the workforce, organizations must have strong human-centric policies to motivate them so that they can contribute effectively for organizational growth. HR is vital to bring strong policies and effectively implement them.” She believes that ESOPs is a new way of incentivizing people into the organization and making them feel a part of it. With the advent of HR tech, they can implement all HR policies and processes through technology tools, some of the advanced ones use AI as well.

Furthermore, the CHRO is now a partner with CFO and CEO and equally responsible for implementing strategic business agenda. HR can now consistently apply data, not instinct, to make talent decisions. At the same time, new automation technologies are enabling more consistent HR services at a lower cost. As a result, HR now plays a strategic role with advances in technology like ( People analytics).

 Don’t try to do everything to perfection because it will end up burning you out.

 Try to manage time effectively, plan, and make realistic schedules for the day. Try to achieve as much as you can from that daily target to avoid carrying it over to the next day.
