Google Doodle recently shared a throwback ICC Champions Trophy game urging people to stay and play at home.

Google Doodle launched a new series on April 27 with which they are urging people to stay and play at home by sharing throwback interactive games. The latest one that Google shared was their interactive doodle from 2017 celebrating the ICC Champions Trophy.

Due to the government-mandated lockdown, to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, people have been staying at home for over a month now and are running out of ways to kill the extra time on their hands. Google has the best solution for that.

Today’s interactive doodle features people playing cricket at home. While the bigger G from the word Google is dressed as a person wearing a chef’s hat and using a rolling pin in place of a bat, the alphabet E shows another person who is ready with the ball.

Google also explained their motive behind launching this 10 game series. They wrote, “As Covid-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home. In light of this, we’re launching a throwback doodle series looking back at some of our popular interactive Google Doodle games!”
