Xiaomi Mi 10 launch today in India

After many delays due to the coronavirus lockdown in the country, Xiaomi is finally hosting an online event, wherein it will launch the Mi 10, alongside the Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2. The Mi 10 has already been launched in China, and it has arrived in a few global markets as well. Now, the company is finally bringing it to the Indian market. Key features of the phone include a 108-megapixel main camera and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Xiaomi is all set to launch its 108 MP camera smartphone Mi 10 in India today at 12 pm IST. A few days ago, Mi 10 was also teased on the Amazon India website. A microsite dedicated to the device revealed that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and will feature a quad rear camera setup that has a 108 MP primary sensor.

In addition to this, it also suggests that the smartphone will sport a punch-hole display that has front camera tucked in the top left corner. Mi 10 will also come with 5G connectivity and might be available in a blue color option.

Mi 10 5G specifications, features

The dual-SIM Xiaomi Mi 10 5G runs Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. It features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) 3D curved E3 AMOLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch-sampling rate, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone also has 1,120 nits peak brightness and a DotDisplay design for the selfie camera cutout.

Mi 10 5G has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is also a LiquidCool 2.0 Vapor Chamber along with a six stack graphite layer and graphene surface area for thermal management. The phone has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with a seven-piece lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), along with a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens that has a 123-degree field of view and an f/2.4 aperture. The camera setup also has a pair of 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 lenses.
